Who you are and what you’ll do

The Developer Evangelist will ensure a positive customer experience for developers integrating Mappedin products and SDKs. Your goal is to help developers succeed. You’ll help customers in a range of industries get the best out of the web and mobile SDKs by finding solutions to their queries. You’ll work with Customer Support and Delivery teams to guide customers in integrating Mappedin products.

As a part of the Engineering team and reporting to the Software Development Manager, you:

  • Are a software developer with knowledge of JavaScript / Typescript and possibly an interest in mobile development on iOS or Android
  • Have excellent communication skills with the ability to start working on a solution with limited information. You know the questions to ask for more information to help your debugging process.
  • Suggest solutions to customers that match and exceed their requirements, while caring about their success and want to help them build great end-user experiences with Mappedin.
  • Are an advocate for the customer internally to ensure the product and SDK teams know about customer feedback to ensure a smooth integration experience.
  • Enjoy supporting and solving various customer problems effectively.
  • Will have the possibility and space to evolve your communication and technical skills in this role as they are critical for your continued success in this role

Often there is little information to get started on working on a solution. You enjoy supporting and solving a variety of customer problems. No two days or customers are alike and you need to be able to work on various issues effectively and simultaneously. You’re able to triage issues quickly and know where you need support from other team members or teams.

You’re not afraid to ask questions because you know it helps you learn faster. You thrive on learning more and then teaching others what you know and how to make their work easier. The Integrations team will be there to support you and help you learn about Mappedin’s systems

Behind the scenes

We use a variety of technology and tools that currently include JavaScript, React, Three.js, Webpack, WebGL, Node.js, Kotlin, Swift, MongoDB, Clickhouse and Superset. We collaborate effectively online using various tools and platforms.

There’s a lot of trust here at Mappedin. We are a REMOTE company. If you’re local, there will probably be a few days a week when you can expect other people to be in the office, but this role could also be fully remote.
